Join a collaborative surgery team as a Surgery Scheduler. The Surgery Scheduler plays an integral role in scheduling cases for Plaza OR and Plaza GI. As the point person for the office schedulers, the Surgery Scheduler facilitates case requests through scheduling and confirmation of procedures.
Job Summary:
Interacts with physician’s offices in scheduling operative procedures, verifying patient data, and transmitting all data/information to nursing areas. Distributes final schedule to all appropriate areas on a daily basis. Maintains communication within the department, relays messages to appropriate staff.
Education:
Required: High School education and experience in medical terminology preferred.
